Backyard Playground

It has become apparent to me that as the kids grow up their interest and use of the outdoor playground start to diminish, thus allowing the family cat Raskal to have free use whenever she wants. She likes to sit on the platform, take a nap, stretch and proceed down the slide.

Misty Morning

Early morning after the fog started to lift.

Rain Drop

After an early morning rain, I poured my first cup of coffee and headed outside to see the water droplets. This one caught my eye and the camera came out.

Highway 169 Bridge

The supporting structure of Highway 169 bridge processed to an HDR image. My first attempt at this type of image. I am very happy with the way this turned out

The Spiders Web

This shot was more difficult than I thought it was going to be. It was early morning and I was shooting directly into the sun. I finally managed to get a couple of shots by using an upper bridge railing to help block the sun.

The local sheriff  has plenty of visibility to point the radar gun  at you in one of these classic rides.

Mirror Image

I was standing on shore watching this river boat paddle downstream on a beautiful September evening with a crisp sky and the sun setting. The only thing wrong was my fiance and I were not on board.

Mistletoe in September

These white beauties reminded me of Mistletoe when I saw them. I managed to get as close as I could to avoid the nasty itch weed plants, unfortunatly I developed a rash on my legs that is taking forever to heal.

Reflection

This duck seemed to be enjoying the view of the river. I was enjoying it's reflection.
